About Rachael

Built on Grit. Fueled by Passion. Led by Purpose.

I started my business with just £20 and a mop. No plan, no experience – just relentless drive. Today, I’m the founder and CEO of Mrs Buckét, a multi-million-pound cleaning company transforming the commercial cleaning industry.

Beyond the boardroom, I’m a mentor, speaker and advocate for young entrepreneurs – especially those who carve their own path.

I believe in proving what’s possible when you lead with heart, hustle and a touch of sparkle.

Today, I lead a team of over 500 people as a multi award-winning business leader. I’m a regular speaker at national business events and a passionate advocate for women in business and education.

I founded Mrs Buckét in my teens with no roadmap – just passion, determination, and a mop. What began as a domestic cleaning service in South Wales quickly grew, fuelled by a £20 flyer campaign and 60-hour workweeks that turned a one-woman operation into a thriving business.

By 21, I had built a team and earned the Great British Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. Today, Mrs Buckét partners with major clients such as Panasonic, GE Aviation, and DOW, employing over 500 people across Wales and the South West.

One of my proudest milestones was our full transition into the commercial cleaning sector in 2019, which allowed us to focus on innovation, sustainability and high-performance delivery. That same mindset carried me through some of the toughest chapters in business and life – navigating a recession, steering the company through a global pandemic, managing multiple office moves and growing a young family at the same time. Each stage brought pressures of its own, but also taught me resilience, adaptability and the importance of building a business that can thrive in any circumstance.

Straight-talking stories that inspire action.

When I speak, I don’t sugar-coat it. I talk honestly about what it takes to grow a business, lead people and keep your spark when things get tough. My talks are full of lessons learned the hard way, plenty of laughs, and a good dose of motivation to get people thinking differently about what’s possible. I speak at business events, on podcasts, on leadership panels and events across the UK on topics like entrepreneurship, resilience and empowering women to chase big goals.

Supporting growth in Wales

When I began my business at 18, I didn’t have a network, experience or even a plan! I learned by doing, by failing, and by getting back up again. That’s why I’m committed to being visible, open and supportive for those walking a similar path.

Through mentoring and speaking, I use my story to encourage others to believe in their ideas, back themselves, and build something they’re proud of.

For me, advocacy isn’t about talking – it’s about action. It’s about helping the next generation of leaders find their voice and their confidence, one honest conversation at a time.
